Due to growing statewide COVID-19 coronavirus concerns, Greene County General Hospital has relocated our outpatient lab to the TeamOrtho Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center for routine lab work (blood and urine tests only) in an effort to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19. Waylon Dunn is GCGH’s first baby of 2020
The first baby born at Greene County General Hospital in 2020 made his grand entrance this weekend. Waylon Lee Dunn was born Jan. 4, 2020 at 8:33 a.m. to Makenzie and Jordan Dunn, of Linton. The newest member of the Dunn family weighed in at 10 pounds 8 ounces and is 23 inches long. Mom said she expected Waylon to be a big boy, but they were a little shocked when he weighed in. “I knew he would be big, but not 10-and-a-half pounds,” Makenzie said with a laugh. On Sunday, December 29, 2019 – Greene County General Hospital has implemented a temporary visitor restriction after an increase in inpatient influenza cases.
