Greene County General Hospital is dedicated to providing a full spectrum of Women’s Health services. In fact, the My Linton Clinic’s Women’s Health Center offers two board-certified OB-GYNs specializing in the woman’s reproductive tract, pregnancy, and childbirth. In addition, GCGH’s labor and delivery department offers a full spectrum of maternity and birthing services. GCGH’s labor and delivery features private rooms and, in October 2020, received an INspire Hospital of Distinction recognition from the Indiana Hospital Association and the Indiana State Department of Health. Women’s Health Services at My Linton Clinic Include:
- Routine gynecological screenings and exams, annual exams-including PAP smears and HPV testing, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- Management of reproductive and gynecological issues across the lifespan, including complete history and physical, pelvic pain exam and breast exam, heavy periods, endometriosis, infertility, and bladder control

- Prenatal care and physicians who perform deliveries including C-section deliveries
- Lactation education and support
- Blood work and other diagnostic studies
- Full range of contraceptive counseling and services including IUDs, implants, and sterilization by tubal ligation

- Managing symptoms of menopause and post-menopausal health, including hormone replacement therapy and menopause management

Perinatal Navigator Services

Greene County Perinatal Navigator
Nikki Page, RN is Greene County’s Perinatal Navigator. She serves families of Greene County to help them have healthy pregnancies and babies. This is a free program through the Indiana Rural Health Association funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration. The program is open to families during pre-pregnancy, pregnancy and until the child is two years old. Nikki is a Certified Lactation Consultant and will be certified as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Her office is located in the My Linton Clinic. Perinatal virtual appointments now available with our Perinatal Navigators! Meet with our experts in the comfort of your home. Services include: Baby Bundle education, lactation help, counseling (with Carolyn Suniga, MSW, LCSW), safe sleep education, referrals for food banks and housing, fatherhood program support, case management and more! If needed, resources can be delivered to your front door.

Audry Britton, CHW is Greene County’s Community Healthcare Worker for the Perinatal Navigator program. Audry helps to enroll Greene County families, provide resources and education and works to support families through preconception, pregnancy and post partum.
Both Audry and Nikki work to help families have healthy babies and positive outcomes. To better serve Greene County, the Lexi Poindexter Memorial Project has partnered with our Perinatal Navigator program to serve our families even more. Now, pregnant and post partum women receive blood pressure cuffs and blood pressure education to help spread awareness of pre eclampsia and prevent complications associated with pre eclampsia. Any pregnant woman is at risk for developing pre eclampsia from 20 weeks of pregnancy until their baby is 8 weeks old.

Perinatal Navigator Social Worker
Carolyn Suniga, MSW, LCSW supports Greene County families by providing mental health counseling, not only to expectant mothers, but to the entire family.
Carolyn Suniga, MSW, LCSW is an experienced social worker. She has worked in a variety of fields and with several different populations. She is experienced in mental health counseling and families struggling with addictions. She has acted as a consultant within the faith-based community to women who were addicted to methamphetamine.
