Dr. Matthew Parmenter, DPM, FACFAS, CWS is a Board-Certified Foot and Ankle Surgeon with more than 35 years of experience providing care to patients across southern Indiana. Dr. Parmenter joined GCGH full-time in the spring of 2023 with the implementation of TeamOrtho Foot and Ankle Center. Dr. Parmenter has extensive schooling and training at both Indiana University and Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed combined orthopedic and podiatric surgical training at multiple hospitals and is certified in wound and hyperbaric medicine. He has been Senior Consultant for Cook Biotech Group for nearly 25 years and holds a patent for antibiotic beads used for wound care. Dr. Parmenter and his wife, Nancy, enjoy spending time in Eastern Greene County on their family cattle farm.
Family Nurse Practitioner, Shanna Klun, FNP-C is right at home working at TeamOrtho Foot and Ankle Center. The Greene County native received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. Shanna is trained in hyperbaric medicine and has worked at a level two trauma center. Shanna enjoys being involved in her community and helps coach girls’ softball. Shanna lives in Bloomfield with her husband and two daughters.
