About ICCU
Patients who are critically ill or experiencing severe medical conditions are first assessed by healthcare professionals, usually in an emergency room, medical unit, or during surgery. If the patient's condition is life-threatening or requires close monitoring and specialized treatment (such as mechanical ventilation, continuous medication infusions, or complex surgeries), the medical team will determine that ICU care is necessary.
