Greene County General Hospital’s CEO, Brenda Reetz, is the 2019 recipient of the Indiana Rural Health Association’s (IRHA) Leadership Award. The IRHA announced Reetz as the winner during its annual Leadership Seminar held on August 22, 2019, in Plainfield, Indiana.
During the awards ceremony, IRHA Network Director, Phil Ellis, presented the award to Reetz stating, “I have great admiration for all you have done at Greene County General Hospital, and this award is no surprise at all to me.” Reetz was nominated for the award through letters of support from Linton’s Mayor, John Wilkes, and from former GCGH board member, Todd Walton.
A team of supporters joined Reetz at the seminar to celebrate her award, including GCGH Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Frederick Ridge; former GCGH board member, Don Shulte; current GCGH board president, Mike Crane; and several members of the GCGH leadership team.
