Make a Difference Day
Greene County General Hospital (GCGH) Foundation is celebrating Make a Difference Day with a unique way to recognize health care professionals throughout the county.
This national philanthropic day happens every fourth Saturday in October, and its purpose is to improve the lives of others. Although some choose this day to host a service project, the GCGH Foundation has chosen to focus on the healthcare professionals in Greene County who improve lives every day.
To celebrate local healthcare professionals, the public is invited to fill out a recognition form for any healthcare professional working in Greene County that has made a difference in their lives. Whether at a nursing home, clinic, dentist’s office, or the hospital, these individuals selflessly put your care above theirs.
Anyone wishing to recognize a health care professional can fill out a form by visiting any of these locations:
- Greene County General Hospital (main registration desk)
- Greene County Health Linton and Bloomfield clinics
- Lyons Health and Living Center
The nomination form is also available online at GreeneCountyHospital.com. Each nomination must be submitted with a $10 contribution. All nominees will be recognized on October 26th. A member of the Greene County General Hospital Foundation will visit the nominee at work and deliver a rose and the special message or recognition.
All are invited to participate and show these professionals that they Make a Difference in the lives of others every day.
