GCGH welcomes first newborn of 2021
GCGH welcomed the first newborn of 2021 on Friday, January 15, 2021. The parents, Katelyn Stevens and Anthony Stevens welcomed their daughter, Birdie Sue Stevens, Friday afternoon in GCGH’s labor and delivery department. Two GCGH labor and delivery nurses, Teresa Egnew, RN and Madisyn Bridges, RN assisted with the birth. Local physician, Owen Batterton, MD, practicing at GCGH’s My Clinics’ Bloomfield location, My Bloomfield Clinic, is retiring after practicing for almost forty years in Greene County. During the November 17, 2020 semi-virtual public board meeting, the GCGH Board of Trustees welcomed Nancy Hudson to the GCGH Board of Trustees.
