Kristin Crynes, RN, BSN, has been appointed to be the Executive Director of Nursing at Greene County General Hospital. Crynes has worked at the hospital for more than 14 years and has previously served in leadership roles as Director of Infection Control, Employee Health, and Environmental Services.
In her new role, Crynes oversees the hospital’s 85 nurses serving in departments that include emergency, obstetrics, medical/surgical, surgery, intensive care, specialties, and more.
“I have loved being a part of the Greene County General Hospital family over the years,“ Crynes said, “and it is an honor to serve in leadership for this great group of nurses. We have an outstanding team of professionals here, and every one of them is a caring and competent nurse who I would trust with my own life and the lives of my family.”
Crynes is a graduate of White River Valley High School and received her LPN from IVY Tech (2001), RN from Lincoln Trail College (2003), BSN from Indiana Weslyan University (2013). She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management at Indiana Western Governors University (2017, expected).
