Bourgasser, Gene, MD


Gene Bourgasser, M.D., is a board-certified Family Practice Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). Dr. Bourgasser received a bachelor’s degree in math and pre-med at the University of Illinois. He then received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine in 1980, graduating with honors. Dr. Bourgasser completed a residency at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana and is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been in practice for decades and has over forty years of diverse medical experience. Dr. Bourgasser lives in Sullivan with his wife.


Cullison, Joshua, MD


Joshua Cullison, M.D. is a board-certified Family Practice Doctor of Medicine (M.D.). Dr. Cullison is a native of Eastern Greene County and graduated from Eastern Greene High School. After high school, Dr. Cullison attended Indiana University where he studied Chemistry. He then graduated from Indiana University’s School of Medicine, and after completing the Rural Medicine Education Program, spent three years in Peoria, IL, serving as Chief Resident at Unity Point Methodist. Dr. Cullison lives in Bloomfield with his wife and children.

Esguerra, Paul R., MD


Dr. Paul Esguerra practices family medicine in Linton, IN.

Martin, Thomas J., MD


Thomas J. Martin, MD, FAAFP, has more than 25 years of experience in family medicine.  He graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine (British West Indies) and completed an internship in pediatrics (Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA), residency in family practice (MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn, IL), and fellowship in geriatrics (LaGrange Memorial Hospital, LaGrange, IL). He established his family practice in Worthington before becoming the hospital's first SNFologist, specializing in the care of patients in the county's skilled nursing facilities.  

Parkes, Derek, MD


Dr. Derek Parks practices family medicine in Linton, Indiana and Jasonville, Indiana and is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine.

Porter, Bryan, MD


Bryan Porter, M.D. is a board certified, Family Practice Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) who provides passionate care to all ages and is dedicated to serving his community. He is originally from Elnora and currently resides in Odon, Indiana with his wife Ginger. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1992. Soon after graduation, Dr. Porter joined the United States Air Force where he started his residency training and served until 2003.  Following his service in the Air Force, Dr. Porter returned home to southern Indiana to provide family medicine services in Odon and has continued to do so for 19 years. Dr. Porter is still dedicated to serving his home community and will now be doing so at My WestGate Clinic. This clinic is located within the WestGate Technology Park adjacent to the Crane Naval Base and next to the Scotland Fire Station.
